Youth and Family Services to serve free meals to youth and seniors this summer

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Youth and Family Services will again be serving free meals as part of its Summer Food Program.

YFS will be serving lunches to all children ages 1-18 and in partnership with Meals on Wheels, they will also provide free meals to seniors age 60 and up. Adults, ages 19-59, who are accompanying children will also be eligible for a free lunch due to a grant from Black Hills Area Community Foundation.

Meals will be distributed from YFS at 410 E Monroe Street every Monday through Friday from 10:30am-12:30pm (MST). Meals will also be provided at YFS Girls Inc, YFS Child Development Center, and the YFS Middle School Program for enrolled children. The Summer Food program runs from May 31-August 19, 2022.
