All of the proceeds go to the programs at YFS that supports children and families in our area.

Brianna Nelson, YFS Communications Coordinator, says, “This has been on ongoing partnership with the Exchange Club of Rapid City, it is something that we really enjoy doing, it is totally volunteer turn which is fantastic. It is a good way to bring community partners in to support other kids and families in the community.”

YFS is still looking for gift wrapping volunteers. Volunteers must wear a mask. The booth is bigger this year to allow proper spacing.

The money brought in by fundraiser like this is crucial to keep programs up and running.

Nelson says, “We provide nine different programs to more than 1,400 kids and families throughout…29 different counties in Western South Dakota every year, and obviously there is a cost associated to providing those programs and services and so fundraising events like this helps secure those funds so we can continue to provide those critical services to kids and families.”
