YFS all set for 25th annual Kid’s Fair
RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Monument in Rapid City is transforming into the ultimate children’s playground for this weekend only.
Staff with Youth & Family Services and volunteers were hard at work Friday setting up inflatables and various activities for their 25th annual Kid’s Fair. YFS is excited to have their biggest fundraiser of the year back and bigger than ever with inflatable attractions, face painting, live entertainment and over 70 booths with hands-on activities.
The event helps to make all the programs and services offered by YFS possible. For only $5 per child at the door, the Kid’s Fair is also an affordable family activity.
YFS Communications Coordinator, Brianna Nelson says, “Kids wear themselves out, so parents typically like that they sleep really well at night after they come to Kid’s Fair. It’s just a safe, fun environment for families to come and spend time together in a positive place while helping support other kids and families in our community.”
Activities and booths have been set up between the Barnett Field House, Rushmore Hall and the north and east concourse for the Kids Fair.
Doors open Saturday at 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. and again on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
