Yellow Jackets open the season with a win over Dickinson State

SPEARFISH, S.D. – Black Hills State University opened the college football season on Thursday with a win over Dickinson State University, 30-24.

Josh Breske earned his first career victory as head coach for the Yellow Jackets.

Junior Matthew Collier rushed nine times for 125 yards and added three catches for 40 yards.

Collier also scored two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, quarterback Chance Eben completed 24-of-35 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown, while adding 41 rushing yards.

The Yellow Jackets will travel to Missouri on Saturday, Sept. 11 to play William Jewell College at 12 p.m.
