RAPID CITY, S.D. — The annual holiday celebration at Main Street Square will kick off the season in downtown Rapid City this weekend.

The event will kick off with a performance from the Black Hills Figure Skating Club at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, with an encore performance slated for 4:45.

The Winter Market will feature a collection of local vendors showcasing hand-crafted goods such as custom wood carvings, ornaments, jewelry, home décor, wreaths, jams, honey, and salsas. Local musical group Trap Kit will perform throughout the event, and a large NS Inflatables Snow Globe photo booth will provide the perfect backdrop for your holiday memories.

Mayor Steve Allender will lead the countdown to light the Main Street Square Christmas tree, a blue spruce standing at over 30 ft. tall, promptly at 4:45 p.m. The tree arrived at Main Street Square on Monday, Nov. 16, from Rapid City community member Alvin Lei .
