Winter advisory and warning issued for Black Hills

A winter weather advisory and winter storm warning have been issued for parts of the Black Hills.

The Winter Storm Warning will be in effect until late Sunday night. Affected areas are Lawrence and Meade counties, especially Lead and Deadwood. Total accumulations are projected to be 5-9 inches of snow, with wind gusts as high as 40 mph. Drivers can expect reduced visibility with this storm.

The Winter Weather Advisory is also in effect until Sunday night. Pennington County, Four Corners, and the Sundance area will be affected, with accumulations of 3 to 6 inches. Wind gusts may reach 40 mph, causing reduced visibility in the area.
