Winner and Spearfish to Play for Region 7B Title
After dropping down from Class A to Class B this season, Spearfish Post 164 entered the Region 7B American Legion Baseball Tournament as one of the favorites to win the title.
Spearfish opened the tournament Wednesday by shutting out Kadoka followed by a 13-7 victory over Piedmont Post 311.
Spearfish squared off against Winner-Colome Thursday in the semi-finals.
Winner-Colome rallied to beat Spearfish, 5-4 in 13 innings.

Winner-Colome will play Spearfish in the championship game on Friday at 5:30 pm.
Spearfish has to beat Winner-Colome twice to win the region title.
