WIND CAVE NATIONAL PARK, S.D. — Wind Cave National Park tours are back up and running following an elevator malfunction Thursday afternoon.

Garden of Eden Tours will resume at 2 and 3 p.m. Thursday. The first tour will begin Friday at 10 a.m. and last tour at 3 p.m.

Daily tours typically sell out by 8:30 a.m., so visitors looking to participate are encouraged to arrive at the Visitor’s Center before 8 a.m.

Wind Cave resumed tours nearly three weeks ago following a 21-month hiatus due to elevator repairs and the COVID-19 pandemic.
