Western Dakota Tech hosts second annual signing day

RAPID CITY, S.D. – On Thursday, Western Dakota Tech hosted its second annual “College Signing Day.”

Typically signing days are reserved for athletes but hosting a signing day for academics is becoming a trend for technical colleges.

Technical careers are in high demand and Western Dakota Tech wants to show students that taking a technical route quite literally pays off.

At the signing students were recognized, received a cap, and of course signed certificates of intent. Along with that, there was a raffle, where soon-to-be students won a swag bag, bookstore credit and the grand prize of a $500 scholarship.
