West Central upsets No. 4 St. Thomas More in high school football

Following two tough losses to start the season, West Central upset No. 4 St. Thomas More on Saturday, 43-13. 

It was a defensive battle in the first half. The Trojans scored a touchdown early in the first quarter to lead 7-0 at halftime.

However, the second half was a different story. Devon Garry gave West Central a 13-0 lead with a 7-yard touchdown run.

But the Cavaliers quickly answered with a 28-yard touchdown pass from Kane Cavanaugh to Thomas Rafferty.

After that, West Central outscored St.Thomas More 30-6 to pick up the victory.

St. Thomas More falls to 1-2 on the season. The Cavaliers will host Sturgis on September 15.
