WATCH: President Biden speaks on COVID-19 from White House

WASHINGTON — President Biden is scheduled to speak about COVID-19 from the White House Rose Garden around 1:45 p.m. M.T. on Thursday following the announcement from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that fully-vaccinated people can safely stop wearing masks indoors and in most places.

“The safest thing for the country is for everyone to get vaccinated.”

“If you’re not fully vaccinated – or not vaccinated – wear a mask for your protection and the protection of other unvaccinated people.”
