WATCH: Bozeman PD takes a polar plunge for the Special Olympics

BOZEMAN, Mont. — A different kind of ‘polar plunge’ took place in Montana last week.

Police officers in Bozeman ran outside in the snow on Wednesday. They were in short sleeves…and many even wore shorts!

The high temperature that day – just eight degrees.

After a run in the snow, they laid down and made snow angels, but was all for a good cause.

Virtual polar plunges are happening across Montana to raise money for the Special Olympics.
