Voters experience delays due to construction on West Fulton Street

RAPID CITY, S.D. — Construction on West Fulton Street is causing delays for voters trying to get to the polls.

Voters in precinct 3.1 have been experiencing backups as they try to reach their poll location at Jackson Heights Highrise at 1805 W. Fulton Street.

The road is open to through traffic with flaggers monitoring the flow of traffic. However, drivers may still experience delays and are advised to allow extra time to vote.

The polling location will be open until 7 p.m. today.
