SKIPPY Peanut Butter is voluntarily recalling more than 9300 cases of peanut butter.

In a press release from Hormel Foods, the company that makes SKIPPY,  says a limited number of jars may contain a small fragment of stainless steel from a piece of manufacturing equipment. There are no reports of consumer concerns.

This only includes SKIPPY Reduced Fat Peanut Butter Spread and SKIPPY Creamy Peanut Butter Blended with Peanut Protein. The jars affected have a “BEST IF USED BY” date between May 4 and May 10 2023.

If you have a product that is being recalled, you can either return it to the store where purchased for an exchange or call SKIPPY Foods Consumer Engagement at 1-866-475-4779 from 8am to 4pm CST.
