VIDEO: Authorities release Ravnsborg investigation interview tapes

PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Public Safety releasing video Tuesday of interviews investigators conducted with State Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg.

The interviews were conducted as part of the investigation into the fatal crash that killed 55-year-old Joseph Boever in September of last year near Highmore. Ravnsborg struck and killed Boever – who was walking along the shoulder on Highway 14 – while returning to Pierre following a speaking engagement earlier in the evening.

Ravnsborg is charged with three misdemeanors relating to the incident.

He is also facing impeachment by the state legislature, as well as a call to resign from Governor Kristi Noem.
