Vendors set up their items in the Winter Market at Main Street Square

RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Winter Market in Main Street Square took place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. as a part of the Christmas festivities.

A collection of local vendors and artists brought their items to the Square, and people meandered through the market, looking for holiday gifts and snacks.

Small businesses without storefronts were able to participate in Small Business Saturday, and many items were Christmas themed.

Tessa Rohrich makes and sells Christmas wreaths, and for some families, buying them from her at the market has become a tradition.

“I’ve been doing it 21 years,” said Tessa. “So I love to see all the old customers coming back and the old people who are like ‘I found you!'”

Skating will continue at Main Street Square through February, and Christmas lights and decorations are already up around town.
