Vandals strike cars, private property with the word ‘savage’
A string of vandalism broke out Thursday morning as police responded to multiple reports of graffiti.
Police were dispatched to 125 East Kansas City Street for a report of damage to private property. Police discovered four vehicles vandalized with the word ‘savage’ spray painted on them. A similar report occurred to five vehicles parked along East Signal Drive. Within the same area, police noted that two construction signs and a concrete bench were vandalized as well.
Lt. Mark Eisenbraun with the Rapid City Police Department says, “Our best bet of finding the people responsible for this is really the public. We are just hoping someone out there in these neighborhoods saw something.”
