V-Twin Visionary partners with Harley-Davidson to hold bike show at Rally Point
STURGIS, S.D. — The Sturgis Rally is bringing in a lot of interesting and eye-catching motorcycles into the Black Hills area.
With these eye-catching bikes comes bike shows that all riders can enter in. This show, however, was less about the flashy bike and more about the bikes that can get up and go.
The spectacle came about when Harley-Davidson tasked V-Twin Visionary to use performance bikes in the show, and the partnership has grown stronger. The bike show is now on its second year being held at the Rally Point in Sturgis.
The show brings in about 60 to 70 bikes per show, with the winners receiving $100 in cash, a handmade award and, most importantly, bragging rights.
The organizer of the event and the founder of V-Twin Visionary, Jeff Holt, talked about how their show really is something to brag about.
“It’s a real cool thing, you know. They get a lot of bragging rights for coming to our show and winning. They come to this show because we bring the heat,” said Holt. “There’s a lot of guys pouring a lot of sweat, equity and money into their bikes and making it happen.”
Holt went on to add that if people are interested in customizing their motorcycles and getting into the competitions, the internet and the riders around you are the best source.
“If you’re interested in customizing bikes, get online, get on YouTube — our channels, anyone else’s channels — learn your stuff, talk to people who ride, go to rallies and just be part of this lifestyle,” said Holt.
V-Twin Visionary will hold bike shows throughout the Sturgis Rally in Deadwood and Sturgis.
