Unopened 1st generation iPhone goes up for auction
An unopened first generation iPhone is up for auction.
Bidding for the Apple relic starts at $2,500, but it’s estimated value is $50,000.
When released in 2007, the phone was the newest technology as it had a three-and-a-half inch screen, a two-megapixel camera, up to eight gigabytes of storage, internet capabilities, and iTunes.
LCG Auctions is listing the item.
In October, the company auctioned off a similar iPhone for more than $39,000.
Bidding starts Thursday evening and ends Feb. 19.
