United Way at 65% of their annual fundraising goal

RAPID CITY, S.D. — United Way of the Black Hills is currently at 65% of their annual fundraising goal with less than a month to go.

There are 28 giving days left, after Giving Tuesday, to give to the United Way of the Back Hills as they continue their fundraising campaign. The organization is aiming for $2.2 million this year and that funding is relied on by fifty organizations in the Black Hills. All donations stay in the communities where they are raised and 100% of what is raised stays in the Black Hills.

“We do still have a ways to go but you know the thing is that you can still make big donations, small donations, any amount matters and it doesn’t matter. Even if it’s just a dollar or two that’s the part of the United Way – we’re united and it takes every single one of us to make an impact.” said Audrea Amstutz, Marketing Manager for United Way.

The campaign runs through the end of the year, so there is still time to donate.
