Black Hills Car Rentals in Rapid City has been booking reservations as early as January, advising people to hurry and get their rentals before it’s too late.

“Last year, we had to tell a lot of people no,” Manager for Black Hills Car Rentals John Torgerson said. “And I think the stories went out on the national news about the shortage of car rentals, and people listened and they called a little bit earlier. What we are finding out now is that the price of airline tickets is causing some of these folks to rethink their plans.”
