Tough Enough To Wear Pink at the Stock Show Trade Show
The Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo Rodeo Rapid City time of year also means the Tough Enough To Wear Pink campaign is in full force.
RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign is now in its 14th year. This project raises funds for the Monument Health John T. Vucurevich Cancer Care Institute, with all T-shirt proceeds staying local and benefitting local patients.
This year the shirts are long sleeve and cost $15 with sizes available from youth to adult 3XL. You can purchase a shirt at the booth set up at the Trade Show upstairs in the Civic Center.
Shawn Powers, Program Manager with Monument Heath Foundation, says, “When you see all the shirts at the Stock Show and the businesses in town, wearing their shirts and having their pictures taken, when you see all of that during this week I think that really sends a powerful message to people in the community, that we are here for you.”
This year’s T.E.T.W.P. rodeo will be on Thursday.
The Pink Champagne brunch to also benefit the Monument Health John T. Vucurevich Cancer Care Institute will be on Saturday, February 8 at 10 a.m. at HayCamp Brewing.
