Latest weather update on tornado warnings, flash flooding, severe storms

UPDATE: Officials are receiving multiple reports for water rescues in Rapid City.

Residents should move to higher ground now and avoid driving or walking through flooded areas.

UPDATE: While the tornado warnings have expired, heavy rain, wind, lightning and flash flooding are all a threat.

According to several reports, Rapid City is experiencing flash flooding in some areas.

Motorists should not attempt to drive through flooded roadways.

Tornado warning issued for the border of Pennington County and Custer County. Residents in the path of the storm should take shelter now.

Three tornado warnings have been issued, one for the Rochford area, the other in northern Custer County and Southern Pennington County, and the last one near the Silver City area.
