Thursday Basketball Recap: Raiders rally from 13 down to beat the Cobblers

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Lady Hardrockers surprise Yellow Jackets, 61-60

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Central squared off against the Stevens Raiders Thursday in boys basketball.

The first time these two teams met back on January 2, the Cobblers defeated the Raiders 49-42.

So the Raiders were hoping for a different outcome this time around.

Central jumped out to a 13 point lead early in the second quarter.

But the Raiders battled back to upset the Cobblers, 69-60.

Stevens outscored Central 39-26 in the second half.

Kaden Lemer led the Raiders with 26 points followed by Jaden Haefs with 14 points.

Meanwhile, the Cobblers were led by Micah Swallow with 30 points and eight rebounds.

Stevens improves to 7-8 on the season.

Central is now 10-6 with three games remaining in the regular season.
