ThunderWolves dominate to spoil Hardrockers’ homecoming

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Mines football team hosted Colorado State University – Pueblo on Saturday to wrap up M-Week.

The Hardrockers struggled throughout the game and lost to the ThunderWolves, 49-7.

The only score for the Hardrockers was a 6-yard rushing touchdown by quarterback Jayden Johannsen in the second quarter.

South Dakota Mines falls to 2-2 overall and 0-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

The Hardrockers will travel to Alamosa, CO on Saturday, Oct. 2 to play Adams State at 1 p.m.

Adams State is 0-4 on the season.
