BLACK HILLS, S.D. — A neat throwback Thursday from the Forest Service – the 1997 U.S. Capitol Christmas tree actually came from the Black Hills!

The tree was taken from a meadow above Little Spearfish Creek on the Northern Hills Ranger District.
