Mark your calendars as Sissy Brown returns to the Miner Brewing Co. Taproom. Enjoy free live music from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 25.
Hailing from Oklahoma and currently residing in Kansas City (with stops in Spokane, Los Angeles, and Austin along the way), Sissy Brown is a classically trained singer whose music has progressively drifted back to the honky-tonk and outlaw country of her Midwestern roots. Since moving to Kansas City, she has released several demos and is in the process of recording her first full-length album.
In her own words: “Oh, hell, I grew up in Oklahoma in a family full of country musicians. I’ve lived all over the place and play nationwide, 9 months a year! My life is full of cowgirl stuff, hard times, wild times, and everything in between on a ranch in North Texas.”
Get ready for the 2019 Miner Music Festival on Saturday, July 27, from 4 – 10 p.m. on the Miner Brewing Company Concert Lawn.
This all-ages evening music festival is for everyone who has a love of both music and the outdoors. Bring a chair, blanket, or hammock, and relax to the tunes of This Frontier Needs Heroes, Them Coulee Boys, and Timmy The Teeth. Click here for more details about the festival lineup.
