RAPID CITY, S.D. – Let’s check out what the weather will be like as we head Thanksgiving week!

Temperature trends:

We’ll see widespread 40s and 50s across the area this week, with a speed bump on Wednesday when we expect a cold front to push through the area.

Will we get any precipitation?

Our best chance for any measurable precipitation will be Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning. The Catch: It may be in the form of rain!

Will it be windy?

If anything, we will have to manage with breezy conditions Wednesday and Thursday as this relatively dry clipper system moves through. Otherwise westerly winds look likely through Wednesday morning.

What should I wear?

You can put away the heavy jackets – a windbreaker and maybe even a sweatshirt should be enough this week.

Weekend forecast:

So far Saturday looks to be on the warmer side with temperatures in the 40s and 50s – a possible cold front could move through Saturday night Making Sunday and early next week feel cooler… with possible unsettled weather on the horizon.
