Terry Peak opens slopes and jobs to snow lovers
LEAD, S.D. – Terry Peak has opened for the season which means that they’re looking for employees to support the mountain.
A variety of positions are available like ski patrol, hospitality, cashiers, lift operators and even snowmakers.
Linda Derosier, Marketing Director at Terry Peak, says that there are lots of perks to the jobs.
“It is out in the outdoors, you can work outside and enjoy the snow and its a fun job,” said Derosier. “And then you can come up and tell all of your friends that you made the snow at Terry Peak!”
In addition to snowmaking bragging rights, employees get season passes and have the chance to work flexible hours and weekends. Derosier says that the more snowmakers they get, the more areas of the mountain they can open.
Ski patrol and instructor positions do require more skiing experience but for those who just want to spend time on the mountain, there are plenty of other openings which can be found here.
