Talking about hearts with Regional Health cardiologists


RAPID CITY, S.D. – Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women. Every year, about 735,000 Americans have a heart attack. So in honor of February being Heart Month, we spoke to a couple of doctors about a specific type of heart disease that we may not be familiar with. Dr. Bhaskar Purushottam and Dr. Joseph Tuma joined us Tuesday morning on NewsCenter 1- Today to tell us all about that and a new addition to Regional Health Rapid City.
