SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Black Hills State football team set a new single-game scoring record on Saturday and defeated Fort Lewis College, 75-0.

With the win, the Yellow Jackets improved to 6-3 overall and secured their first winning season since 2016.

Nolan Susel and Hasaan Williams each scored two touchdowns the Yellow Jackets.

Meanwhile, Jamin Wurtz led the BHSU receivers with 117 yards in the air and a touchdown.

Chance Eben ended the day with 8-of-14 passing for 91 yards and three touchdowns.

Black Hills State finished with 633 yards of total offense, the most in a game since the program entered the NCAA.

The Yellow Jackets hit the road on Nov. 5 to play Adams State in Alamosa, CO.

The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
