Students at General Beadle Elementary receive board game donation

RAPID CITY, S.D. — Students at General Beadle Elementary in Rapid City got an early Christmas present thanks to a generous donation.

Larry Adams, a realtor with Keller Williams, has purchased board games for the kids.

They were delivered Wednesday and range from Uno, Sorry!, Trouble, Candyland and so on, for the students to enjoy over the holiday break.

Larry’s wife, Casey, is the Dean of Students at General Beadle.

They hope the games provide a fun activity for the students and their families over the break.

“I was quite surprised how appreciative they were and how excited they were to, you know, realistically a simple game,” said Larry. “It really is and they were very appreciative of it.”

The idea for the gifts came a couple weeks ago, which meant some quick hustle to get all the games in time.

In all, 475 board games were gifted to the General Beadle students.
