Strong showing by Rapid City golfers during second round of SDGA Championship

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Golf Association Amateur Championship continued on Saturday at Arrowhead Country Club.

Tyler Rachetto of Rapid City shot a three-under-par for the second straight day and leads the men’s division with a total score of 136.

Nick Lust of Rapid City is one stroke off the lead at 137.

Meanwhile on the wom

en’s side, first round leader Natalie Young of Rapid City dropped to third place after carding a nine-over-par 80 on Saturday. Young has a total score of 152.

Laerke Jensen of Vermillion moved into the lead with a two-day score of 144.

Alex Kandolin of Rapid City enters the final day of the tournament in second place, six shots behind Jensen.

The tournament wraps up on Sunday.
