Storybook Island’s Christmas Nights of Light continues to bring joy with spectacular displays

Storybook Island is once again hosting their annual Christmas Nights of Light. This is the 28th year the Nights of Light being held and it’s also one of the biggest fundraisers that Storybook Island holds, making it the reason why the park has free admission in the summer.

It also serves as a family tradition for many. Families make it a special event to see the lights, even calling the park to see when the lights will be put up.

The Christmas Nights of Light features:

  • Over 20 miles of lights set up all over the park, with new lights put up every year.
  • Hot cocoa, cappuccinos, milk shakes in a Storybook Island souvenir cup, root beer floats and cookies from Eileen’s Colossal Cookies sold at the ice cream shop.
  • Santa and Mrs. Claus on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Train and carousel for $3 per person.

Storybook Lights 14Admission is $4 per person for all ages and you pay at the gate when you come in. Depending on the weather, if it’s a nice, the line to get in may be longer. Cash and credit cards are accepted at all locations.

They are open from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 16 through Dec. 23. And then again Dec. 26 through Dec. 31.
