STM standout Reese Ross named Gatorade Girls Basketball Player of the Year in South Dakota
RAPID CITY, S.D. – Reese Ross from St. Thomas More has been named the 2022-23 Gatorade South Dakota Girls Basketball Player of the Year.
The 6-foot-1 senior forward led the Cavaliers to a 17-5 record this past season.
She averaged 22 points, eight rebounds and two assists per game.
Ross also maintains a 3.92 GPA in the classroom.
Next year, she will play women’s basketball at the University of Utah.
She is the second player to be chosen for this award from St. Thomas More.
Haleigh Timmer won the award in 2021.
