Stevens sweeps Central in boys and girls soccer doubleheader

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Central and Stevens squared off on Thursday night in a boys and girls soccer doubleheader.

The girls match featured two of the top teams in the state.

The Raiders entered the contest with a 6-0-1 record while the Cobblers were 6-1.

Stevens scored three goals in the first half and the Raiders went on to beat Central, 5-0.

Riley Schad scored two goals for Stevens.

Bresha Keegan, Taylor Wit and Addie Hofer each scored a goal for the Raiders, as well.


Boys Soccer

RC Stevens 2, RC Central 1

Rapid City Stevens rallied to beat Rapid City Central 2-1 on Thursday in boys soccer.

Riley Roe put the Cobblers on the board first with a goal early in the first half.

But Zack Williams scored late in the first half for Stevens to tie the match up at 1-1.

Then later one, Levi Busching scored a goal to secure the win for the Raiders.

The Raiders improve to 6-2 on the season, while the Cobblers fall to 2-4-2.
