Stevens girls down Brookings; clinches spot in State ‘AA’ Tournament

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Stevens Raiders are heading back to the State ‘AA’ girls basketball tournament for the ninth year in a row.

The Raiders defeated Brookings Friday, 56-32 in the Class AA SoDak 16.

Jayda McNabb led Stevens with 10 points followed by Bailee Sobczak and Jill Delzer with nine points a piece.

Stevens enters the State ‘AA’ girls basketball tournament as the No. 4 seed.

The Raiders will play No. 5 Rapid City Central in the opening round on Thursday, March 10 at 1:45 p.m.

The State ‘AA’ girls basketball tournament will take place March 10-12 at the Monument in Rapid City.
