State Volleyball: The finals are set

Hill City to play of the consolation championship on Saturday at 10:45 a.m.

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The state volleyball tournaments continued on Friday at the Summit Arena in Rapid City.

Hill City defeated Parkston in the consolation semifinals, 3 sets to 1.

The set scores were 25-14, 15-25, 25-18 and 25-12.

Marie Peckosh led the Rangers with 10 kills followed by Karsen Kirsch with 8 kills.

Meanwhile, Whitney Edwards had four kills and three blocks.

Hill City will play Elkton-Lake Benton on Saturday at 10:45 a.m. for the consolation championship.
