State Girls Basketball: Wall Eagles advance to state finals

HURON, S.D. – The Wall Eagles are heading to the State ‘B’ girls basketball championship game for the first time in school history.

The Eagles upset No. 1 Wolsey-Wessington, 76-72 in the semifinals on Friday night in Huron.

Nora Dinger led the Eagles with 24 points.

Wall will play defending champion Viborg-Hurley in the finals.

The Cougars defeated Ethan, 52-34.

The championship game will take place on Saturday at 6:45 p.m. MT at the Huron Arena.
