On the other hand, Ashtyn Wobig leads the Fighting Cougars with 18 points per game.

STM head coach Brandon Kandolin says his team is feeling excited and confident in their match-up against McCook Central – Montrose.

“They’re a team that plays a zone and they’ve got some pretty good size inside,” Brandon Kandolin said. “They’ve got another Koepsell girl that kind of owns the inside for them. But certainly, Wobig is a big part of them and she contributes in a lot of ways. She can handle the ball. She can shoot. She’s got length and quickness. So she’s a vital part that we’re going to look at to try and contain.”
