State ‘A’ Legion Tournament: Post 22 advances to Saturday’s final four
RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota State ‘A’ Legion baseball tournament started with eight teams.
After three days of competition, the field has been narrowed down to the top four teams.
Post 22 eliminated Pierre from the tournament on Friday with a 13-2 victory.
Harrison Good led the Hardhats with three RBIs.
Lee Neugebauer earned the win for Post 22. He allowed five hits and two runs while striking out two and walking one.
Post 22 will now face the only undefeated team in the tournament, Sioux Falls East.
That game is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday at the Black Hills Surgical Hospital Ballpark in Rapid City.
