State ‘A’ Legion: Harrisburg eliminates Post 320, Mitchell tops Post 22

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota State ‘A’ Legion Baseball Tournament continued on Thursday at the Black Hills Surgical Hospital Ballpark in Rapid City.

It was a tough second round for the teams from Rapid City.

Harrisburg rallied to beat the Post 320 Stars, 4-2.

So the Stars are eliminated from the tournament and wrap up the season with a 33 and 18 record.

Meanwhile, Mitchell scored four runs in the sixth inning and Post 18 went on to defeat Rapid City Post 22, 8-2.

The Hardhats finished with just two hits and four errors.

Post 22 will play Pierre on Friday at 2:30 p.m. in an elimination game.
