RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Best of the West Cross Country Meet was held Thursday at the Hart Ranch.

Peyton VanDeest from Spearfish won the girls varsity race with a time of 19:25 followed by Kira Ubence from Douglas.

Meanwhile, Peyton Cast from Douglas ran away with the boys title in a time of 17:03.

Canyon Iszler from Rapid City Stevens finished in second place.

Region 5A Cross Country Meet

The Region 5A Cross Country Meet was also held on Thursday at the Hart Ranch.
