Spearfish Captures Region 7B Title

Spearfish Post 164 knocked off the defending region champions, Piedmont Post 311 Thursday night to advance to the Region 7B championship game and a rematch against Winner-Colome.

Winner-Colome outlasted Spearfish on Thursday, 5-4 in a 13 inning game.

Since it's a double elimination tournament, Spearfish had to beat Winner-Colome twice to win the region title.

Spearfish rallied from three runs down in the first game to win, 8-6.

Then Spearfish rolled over Winner-Colome in the second game, 16-8.
