SpartanNash Foundation joins fight against hunger
100 percent of donations during the 12-day fundraising campaign will support the local food pantry.
The SpartanNash Foundation is joining the fight against hunger during its company wide fundraising effort from October 23 to November 3.
Locally, customers of Family Fare will have the opportunity to make a monetary donation to Feeding South Dakota at the check out, or round their purchase up to the next dollar.
The efforts are giving customers a chance to give back to the community.
Kevin Uchytil, Family Fare Store Director, says, “We see the need every year in Rapid City and you know being where the customers you know want to help out in a certain way, and certainly the best way to help out is to donate back in food products and like I said 100% of the funds raised stay here in Rapid City.”
They will also have food bins set out for people to purchase the food and donate after purchase.
