Soccer Semifinals: Stevens girls fall to Roosevelt, Stevens boys punch ticket to state finals
RAPID CITY, S.D. – The high school soccer playoffs continued on Tuesday with both the Rapid City Stevens boys and girls teams looking to punch a ticket to the state finals.
The Stevens girls were hoping to return to the state championship for the second time in three years.
But No. 7 Sioux Falls Roosevelt upset the No. 3 Raiders, 2-1.

Rapid City Stevens also hosted Sioux Falls Roosevelt in the boys semifinals.
The Rough Riders jumped out to a 1-0 lead at halftime.
But the Raiders rallied in the second half to beat the Rough Riders, 2-1.
Zack Williams scored both goals for Stevens.
He now has 25 goals on the season.
The top-seeded Raiders will play No. 7 Sioux Falls O’Gorman in the state finals on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. in Huron.
