Soccer Roundup: Central boys open the season with win over Belle Fourche

RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Rapid City Central boys soccer team opened its season on Saturday with a win over the Belle Fourche Broncs, 3-2.

The Cobblers jumped out to an early lead thanks to a goal by Eli Brink.

However, the Broncs tied it up midway through the first half. Josiah Trimble scored on a free kick after the ball hit the base of the post and went in for the goal.

But Landin Winter and Erik Keohane both scored in the second half to help secure the win for Central.

Emma Avery finished with a hat trick as the Rapid City Central girls soccer team kicked off the season with a win over Belle Fourche, 10-1.
