Sioux Falls woman facing child pornography charges

PIERRE, S.D. — A Sioux Falls woman is facing charges for distributing and receiving child pornography.

Sharon Dvorak, 49, pleaded not guilty to the charges on Monday. She faces up to 20 years in federal prison if convicted.

The indictment alleges that between July 10, 2018 and July 16, 2018, Dvorak knowingly received and distributed, and attempted to receive and distribute, child pornography.

The charges are merely accusations, and Dvorak is presumed innocent until, and unless, proven guilty.
