Sioux Falls police search for missing man believed to be hitchhiking to Rapid City

UPDATE: Sioux Falls police say Tyler Clardy was found safe in Sioux Falls.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Sioux Falls police have asked for the public’s assistance in looking for a 20-year-old man believed to be hitchhiking on I-90 to Rapid City.

Tyler Clardy, 20, was last seen around 7 p.m. CDT in the 500 block of North Solar Drive on the east side of Sioux Falls.

He was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, ripped blue jeans and a backpack. He is 6-foot-4 and weighs about 175 pounds.

Reports say Clardy functions at a 10-12 year-old level and disappeared in July of 2018 as well. He was found by South Dakota Highway Patrol outside of Sioux Falls.
