Severe Thunderstorm warning issued for WY Counties

WYOMING — A severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect for east central Campbell and central Crook counties.

At 5:05 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located three miles west of Oshoto or 32 miles northeast of Gillette, moving east at 25 MPH.

Ping pong size hail and 60 MPH wind gusts are potential hazards. Animals and humans outdoors will be injured. Expect damage to roofs, siding, windows and vehicles. Wind damage for roofs, siding and trees should also be expected.

The storm will be near Oshoto at 5:10 p.m. MDT and Carlile around 5:30 p.m. MDT.

Precautionary/Preparedness actions include:

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside should immediately move to shelter inside a strong building away from windows.

WYOMING, – A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for northeastern Cambell County  and Crook County until 5:30 MDT.

At 4:34 p.m. MDT, a severe thunderstorm was spotted located six miles south of Biddle or 30 miles South of Broadus, moving southeast at 25 MPH.

Two inch hail and 60 MPH wind gusts are hazards. People and animals who are outdoors will be injured. Hail damage to roofs, siding, windows and vehicles is expected.

Precautionary/Preparedness actions include:

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside should immediately move to shelter inside a strong building away from windows.
